I am joined by my co-host, producer, and good friend Tom Bell.

Tom, how are you today?

I am doing well, Michael.

How is your Thanksgiving weekend going?

It's going very well. This is the first

year I'm not with family. Oh, yeah, because Carol's family, you know, Carol's mother passed.

Those of you longtime listeners to the show know that Carol's mother passed over a year ago,

close to two years.

And the family is no longer gathering for Thanksgiving.

That tradition is dropped.

I didn't know that until like a week ago.

So a friend of mine invited me to her families for Thanksgiving. So now I have a year to figure out what I want to do. But I'm looking forward to. And I would last year, they didn't host it either. But that was like right after her mother passed.

And so Joni, my daughter, wasn't working.

So I took the whole meal down to Monterey and we made it there in her tiny little kitchen.

Oh, my gosh. It's the first time I saw her small apartment and it was a small kitchen.

I couldn't figure out where to put stuff.
