I'm Gianna Jalosi with your Fox True Crime Minute, an end to a murder trial that's gripped

the small town of Delphi, Indiana for years.

A judge sentenced Richard Allen to the maximum sentence of 130 years behind bars for the killings of two teenage girls.

In a case that came to be known as the Delphi murders, 13-year-old Abigail Williams and 14-year-old Liberty German disappeared on February 13th, 2017 after going for a hike. They were found the next day

with her throat slashed and sticks covering their body. One key piece of evidence presented during

the trial was a video Libby recorded on her phone at some point before she and Abby were killed

of a man in a hat and a blue utility jacket. Prosecutors argued that man was Alan. Five years after the murder, investigators searched

Allen's home and found a jacket and a gun that matched an unspent bullet at the scene. He also made

dozens of confessions in prison. Alan's attorneys plan to appeal. He maintains his innocence.
