for having me. It is such an honor to host you. I would love to get started by learning

more about you and your beauty journey and just, you know, what inspired you in this industry.

Of course. Well, I, funny enough, I never thought I would be on this entrepreneurial

journey that I am currently in now fully my background. I was working in corporate America.

I was a VP of external affairs and I worked at a major healthcare company for over seven

years and really focused on strategic grant making and philanthropy and really doing

kind of community work on behalf of the company. I'm very rewarding. And so I was just

kind of climbing the ladder, right? I was getting, you know, promotions and just kind of

working my way up. And it wasn't until I had my son in 2017 that, you know, my perspective

just kind of changed. Yeah. After having him, he was just born with all of this like gorgeous

hair. And so funny because I, you know, I wanted to be a boy, mom, because I didn't want

to have to deal with all the hair. And then of course, I get a son that has all the hair.

That's an amazing hair. Yeah. So I was just trying to find products that were clean,

plant-based and specifically felt like they were made with for a boy with textured hair.

And I was just very surprised that there were no products created that I felt like had him in

mind. Yeah. Yeah. Absolutely. Yeah. And that just bothered me for a lot of reasons.
