to introduce you guys to the co-founders of this amazing new brand that I've discovered

and I'm absolutely loving these days. Care Beauty. So without further ado, I want to introduce

you guys to Lori King and Celeste Lee, who are the co-founders. Welcome to the show, guys.

So excited to be here. Thank you, Ecta. We're so excited to be here with you.

I love, you know, that I'm able to connect with you because I love finding brands that

are just, you know, so different and unique and your products have just really appealed

to my skin in such a different way. So I want to dive into that later, but first I would

love it. Celeste, if you could start us off with your background and in the beauty industry

and just tell us a little bit more about yourself.

Well, thank you for asking. I came into beauty a little bit by accident in that I had this

horrible job in Japan and investment banking and this like kind of quasi-racist boss. And

then I didn't like all the Japanese men assuming that like, you know, I was a Japanese when

I'm actually Chinese American and also that I was going to serve tea. So when I came back

to the US, I love this, by the way, yeah, what I'm talking in front of mine says, do you

want to like start this office for AMC movie theaters? And I was like, absolutely. And

then I had a great run going to all these basically screenings every day. I thought I was

like a Hollywood mogul, even I made no money. And then one day, right in line from college

calls me up, she goes, you're always so good at marketing and you have all these ideas.

And she was working for something called a fragrance company and says, do you do you want

to try your hand at coming up with some ideas? I'm like, I needed money. I had tons of time.

I was like, I had a huge gorgeous office, but no money, right? So I was like, sure. Yeah.
