So there's only two real employees in my company.

One else is 1099 contractors or they work on for a project basis.

So for example, I can hire a construction manager for 150,000 a year, no problem.

Or I can pay a third party construction manager 160K per project.

Now that may seem stupid to do if I'm doing 10 projects a year, but then all of a sudden

let's say COVID hits or the great financial crisis hits and everything stalls for three

years.

I'm the guy that's looking like the smart one because all my variable costs I can shut

off in one day.
