0:28.6	Hello there, Sprouts. Today is March 12th, and we are continuing our conversation this week about carisms. So as we learned on day one, carisms are special graces given to us by God
0:35.3	to build up the church. And so we've been talking about carisms as a
0:39.7	whole, but we haven't yet touched on what some of the actual charisms you might have could be.
0:47.2	So what are some of the individual options for charisms? So to begin, it's really important for us to note that the Catholic Church
0:56.6	never published a list and said, these are the exact and only carisms of the Holy Spirit.
1:03.9	And the reason for that is because the Holy Spirit is the most creative being you can possibly imagine. So much more creative than you or me or any
1:15.9	person that has ever lived. So there are so many things that the Holy Spirit can do. But at the
1:23.0	same time, we want to be clear on things that the Holy Spirit has regularly done throughout the
1:29.6	history of the church. And that's what we're going to talk about today. So this isn't to say
1:33.7	these are the only things the Holy Spirit could ever give you, but these are things that the Holy
1:38.9	Spirit has given as gifts again and again throughout the history of the church. These are really easy things to find
1:45.8	within the lives of the saints. So you can look at the lives of saints and pull out some of these
1:53.6	charisms from them because like I said, this list, these ones we're going to talk about today
1:59.3	are things that the Holy Spirit has given over and over and over again throughout the history of the church. So these gifts
2:06.7	fall into kind of three main categories with a secret fourth bonus category that we're going to
2:14.3	talk about at the end. So the three main categories that the charisms
2:18.4	fall into is organization, provision, and formation. So if you think about what it is that the
2:26.9	church needs to function, the church needs to be organized, the church needs to be provided
2:33.3	for, so they have all the things that they need.
