Hello and welcome to Best Laid Plans.

0:12.5

This is Sarah Hart Unger and this is the podcast where we talk all things planning and planning adjacent.

0:18.4

So today's episode is going to be about daily planning, which I already did do a

0:23.6

daily planning episode previously, but this is going to be more about the reasons I advocate for

0:29.8

daily planning and what I like about it. And then after a quick break, we are going to do

0:34.8

two mini reviews of some different daily layouts that I've

0:38.4

been looking at recently that I just thought were worth mentioning. All right, so let's get started.

As we record this, it's September, so everyone is still enjoying that fresh new season

but you don't get to start with a brand new page every day if you

1:28.9

only have a weekly view. And I truly gravitate towards always having a daily planner that I'm using

1:35.0

because I really always like starting my day with a clean slate. And in fact, filling out my planner

1:41.4

is something I do typically in the morning. I know some people love to do it the night before, but I love to do it in the morning because

1:48.1

it's just part of my ritual of starting a fresh new day.

1:51.6

At the top of my page, no matter what layout I'm using, I will write like what kind of day

1:56.3

it is, which sets the tone.

1:57.8

Maybe it's a clinic day.
