If you were here last week, apparently I am not the only one who felt like the new year came in with a discouraging turn.

I got some notes from people,

other people who had random pain flares and then other challenges and then,

oh my, let's not even for a moment look at the news.

It's all so tragic and horrible and really feels like a beginning of a challenging year, as I was saying, last week.

And I wish I could say that my own pain flare was doing better, but it's really not.

Oh gosh.

Here's what happened, you see.

I did everything right for maybe five or six days.

And then when I woke up two days ago, I was really feeling better.

I was so happy.

I'm like, all right, I'm on the mend.

And then I did the exact same thing I've done so many times before,

which is as soon as I start to feel better,

I go back to doing too much too quickly and I re-aggravate the situation.

And, you know, it's honest enough.

It's like there's stuff that needed to be done at the house.
