Now, for those of you who follow the program, I am not a fan or advocate of DBT, but it is a viable

the gurus in the field of cognitive behavioral therapy, which really is devoid of emotion in

terms of treatment. You're focusing on cognitions and you're focusing on behaviors and emotions are

seen as just the byproduct of it.

Whereas in dialectical behavioral therapy, it was initially developed by Marshall Linnehan.
