Hey everybody, this is Rob Leifeld and we are doing another installment of Robeservations.

This episode is going to be brutal.

It's brutal.

And it's one that we could not escape there was no outrunning

the subject matter that is the death in comic books the bronze age of comics was an era that saw

so many different areas of maturation.

That's kind of what is the staple of the bronze era of comic books.

It is the era where comics grew up, got mature,

dealt with more mature and adult subject matter and death and characters deaths are a huge part of this and

as we go along especially towards the end you're going to see that death's death in comics

death of characters would become a selling point point by the end of this period.

But especially at the dawn of the Bronze Age of Comics, characters dying was quite done in quite a clever fashion. You did not see it coming. Many were shocks and

surprises legitimate, legitimate surprises that you were not expecting at that page turn that shocked

you. I myself am going to recount to you the top what I believe the top most

impactful to me to me and they happen to also be the the top and most impactful in the

industry but a couple of these deaths in comics I interacted with and encountered at least one very significant one was, you know, eating a Western Dipple bacon cheeseburger at Carl's Jr.

And and some of them are going to be in the back of the car as I am waiting while my mom shops in the mall.

And the most significant one along those lines, it moved me to the point of tears as a kid.

It was absolutely a death that affected me and was found me in an emotional wreck

as it happens when you engage with a character that you create a bond with, that you have
