So what if they give you a question about a person?

And this person, you're told that the person has a history of some kind of a prosthetic valve.

And the person recently had a dental procedure when they went to a foreign country.

And then now, for the past two weeks, they've been having fevers, they've been short of breath,

they've been having some mild chest pain, they've been having night sweats.

And they tell you that their ESR and CRPs elevated.

And they are telling you that you're hearing like increased sounds around where the person had the previous prosthetic valve.

I'd really hope in this case you're thinking of this person having some kind of

some kind of endocratitis right and they're having this endocratitis because they've recently had a dental procedure and now they've gotten in trouble.

So remember that typically if you're talking about just infectious endocratitis overall,

the most common cause is generally going to be staph aureus.

But sometimes you can get endocratitis from dental procedures, especially things like strep mutants, for example.

Strip mutants can certainly put you in trouble.
