On June 4, 2018, a man who felt he had very little

to lose, ended a killing spree that would, in the end, cost six individuals their lives.

morning cup of murder. On May 30, 2018, in Scottsdale, Arizona, a man named Dwight Lamont Jones, picked up a weapon

and began a six-day shooting spree.

The first of all victim to the 56-year-old killer was 59-year-old, well-known forensic

psychiatrist, Stephen Pitt.

Killed on May 31st at 5.20 p.m. while standing outside his office,

Stephen was best known for the work he did in 2006 that helped police to identify the baseline

killer and consulting on the John Bonae cold case. While Stephen Pitt made headlines for

his work with police, the bulk of his work actually focused on high-paying divorce cases and

custody battles. A line of work that police would soon learn actually placed a pretty big target on

his back.

Eyewitnesses at the scene described the round-faced white man with bags under his eyes,

who approached Stephen in the parking lot, and after a brief argument, pulled out a weapon

and pointed it at Stephen Pitt. Less than 24 hours later at 2.15 p.m. on June 1st,

48-year-old Valeria Sharp and 49-year-old Laura Anderson,
