Hello, my dear Unchaken Saints, Jared Halverson here, grateful to be with you again.

I apologize that for the second week in a row this video is coming out later than usual.

I'm still trying to dig my way out from under the avalanche of things that piled up as I was trying to,

you know, push things through the back burner to be able to keep put out some fires at home.

And I'm grateful for your patience with me, not only your patience, but just your compassion.

I am so hopelessly behind on reading comments or responding to questions or answering messages that you've sent in Facebook or email or whatever it might be.

I really do plan and hope to get to those, but it's probably been a month since I've been able to even look at anything.

But I took a quick moment to glance over a few comments from this last week's video.

Afraid that people would be up in arms so that it came out later than usual.

But there was no, no censure, just compassion, no, where's the video?

And instead just, I was hoping you were okay.

The video didn't come out on the normal day.

And I just hoped that nothing bad was happening at home.

Well, we had plenty of things happening.

And again, I appreciate your compassion and patience with me as I'm trying to keep that snorkel tip just out of the top of the water.

But your enthusiasm for my son's service mission, your high hopes that I can press forward on dissertation.

It really does feel like just a family or a group of friends sitting around talking about scripture.
