If I was to ask you what is the world's single largest far-right organisation today, I'm sure you'd have some responses to hand.

But I suspect most of you wouldn't say it's the RSS. That's an organisation in India,

which has really led to a takeover of that country's civil society's infrastructure

in the name of Hindu nationalism.

Now the RSS created a political party called the B.J.P.

That's the party of government in India.

It's the party which Norengen at Modi, the Indian Prime Minister,

belongs to.

He's the world's most followed politician on social media, the most significant political figure in India for decades.

There are elections in India right now, 900 million people are eligible to vote. We'll know the

results of those in early June. But 10 years into the Modi Premiership and the perennial growth of the Hindu Nationalist

project, questions are being asked about whether India remains a democracy.

We've long called it the world's largest democracy, but maybe that

label no longer holds. To discuss all of that today, we have a great guest here at
