You know, I don't know if you know this or not, but it's the 150 years ago last

month. President Abraham Lincoln was assassinated at the Ford Theatre. He was

actually on April the 14th, 1865, exactly 150 years ago. And then his body was

shipped by carriage from Washington, D.C. all the way to Springfield, Illinois,

where he was buried. And this was, even though it was obviously way before my

lifetime, although my kids think I was alive when Lincoln was alive. They think I'm

that old. This was, to me, this was the greatest American up until now. I mean,

he was, he was the person who was personally responsible for getting the

13th Amendment passed, for ending slavery, for, you know, getting the union

back together and so on. And just a giant of a man in every way, both physically

and spiritually and in every way. And I've always always been fascinated by

Abraham Lincoln. I've read a lot of the biographies of him. I've studied him.

I've gone to Springfield and been to the places where he was as a young man and

been to where he is buried. And, you know, he's just a giant of a human being in

my life. It's just every once in a while in a generation, someone will come along

who will make a huge, huge impact on what is going on in the world. And if it

wasn't for Lincoln, this, we would really be looking at two countries right

now. We would have the Confederate States and we would have the Northern
