I've often asked the question of people that they've even gone enthusiast, would you

rather live in a country in which everyone has a gun, or which no one has a gun, just

imagine either one of those scenarios, which one would you prefer if you had to take one

or the other, and I think almost all sensible people would say, you know, we need to create

a world where there is less of this kind of violence, and it's just such a disturbing

thing to me that.

And I think back to the end, some of the things that were part of our consciousness, not

too long ago in my youth particularly, one was cigarette smoking and the other was drunk

driving.

And both of those have undergone a very serious, dramatic shift in consciousness in our

hearts.

It used to be that Dean Martin used to be on, you know, remember the Dean Martin show

with a cocktail and a cigarette.

Right.

And he used to talk about driving drunk, you know, and make jokes about it and think, you

know, how funny it was and get laughs from that kind of thing.

And it was sort of an accepted part of the way that we did business back then the 1950s

and 60s, and so 40, 50, 60 years ago.
