And this is going to be very interesting because when it comes to battle rap, it's one of the most sacred art forms within the actual genre of hip hop because

they don't really come all that often. They're very scarce because when you look at it, you're

lucky to get even one or two mainstream rap battles within the genre. And one of the biggest rap battles in the history

of this is Drake versus Meek Mill. And now we're coming off of the heels of Drake versus

Kendrick Lamar. So we felt like it was fitting to start off with this battle first. And the way

that this is actually going to flow is that we're going to start off by taking you guys

through the origin story and the background of how

this rap battle and beef all came together what birded the whole situation and then we're going to

take you guys through a timeline of events from different release dates for different tracks

to different important events that really shaped the trajectory of this entire thing and within that we're also going to give you breakdowns of the songs that were released.

And then we're going to be answering the question, who won the battle in the moment and who won

the war?

10 years almost after this all went down, we can now look at it from a different perspective.
