about the epic feud between Jay-Z and Nas. We're going to be taking you guys through the origin

story, the background, how this all began. Then we're going to be taking you guys through a full

timeline of events from subliminal shots to the distracts themselves and much more.

And then we're going to be answering the questions, who won the battle and who won the war?

So, Ant, looking back on this, I mean, we obviously didn't lift through this battle,

but how do you feel about it as a whole in hindsight?

I think it's so cool to do research on this battle.

I feel like this was an historical event.

I feel like there's probably

people in the community that are older than you and I that were able to witness this and they felt

the exhilarating energy of this battle because just reading back on it and going back to old

interviews and understanding things that might have happened and things that almost happened. It's like, well, this could

have been fucking savage if I'd be completely honest with you. Yeah. And what's crazy about it

too is just when I'm looking at it now, I'm still debating. I'm like, is this the greatest

rap battle in hip hop history or is it Kendrick Lamar and Drake? Like after doing as much research

as we did

for this episode, it really gets you thinking of, you know what, maybe this was the best

rap battle that we've ever seen and that we ever will see. Well, it's also because it extended

over a period of years. It was a lot, a lot of build-up. Absolutely things in the making. And

there was also a lot of industry politics that played a big part in this feud.

So that's what I found interesting about it.
