I can't wait to talk about this week's topic. I know this one was really hard to put together because there's so much

information out there and whittling it down to just try to get the most

relevant information while still keeping all the really

juicy macabre aspects of it was was kind of a challenge that it's a good story and it's as

old as methusela. Maybe literally.

Johanna, do you believe in curses?

I... hmm... I think I don't. I do strongly believe in some form of karma, you know, like for me everything we send out into the universe is energy, like positive and negative, and it will eventually come back to us.

That's the kind of thing I wish I believe was real but I've just not seen enough evidence to support it.

But for curses? Yeah, I don't know. I wouldn't say that I don't not believe in curses. I've even considered whether or not I might be

cursed. Well you actually might be. I even had a doctor joke about that one, but I

guess I see curses in the same way as I see like luck or Bigfoot like is it a tangible

scientifically proven thing? No. Is it possibly maybe a real thing? Yeah you bet you know but

generally speaking I'm not a big believer in curses and that's saying something because I'm a Red Sox fan from the Kennedy stomping grounds, so.

So do you want to tell our listeners what curses have to do with today's episode?

Yes, so today we're going to be talking about a topic I've been interested in since the

Mangles told us to walk like an Egyptian.

Today we're talking about mummies and a curse and not just any curse, the infamous curse of King Tutin'hamun. So I practice saying that, Tutamun, I had always said Tutin' common, but I probably still got it wrong. We'll probably call him King Tut most of the time and we're going to cover

King Tut and his deadly curse.

Of course, Dan will debunk all the alleged curse because we love talking about mysteries, but we also want to be sure.
