One set of things around Lauren, we're trying to do this special issue, and other things in response to the

election, because I am really tired of so many of my old friends, you know, spending all their time

talking about how we could have won. I'm just really getting sick of it. I wanted to, what happened?

I thought at one point some people wanted to make a revolution,

and now all you want to do is get another 1% votes.

The good thing about 2024, I'll say now that it's in the rearview mirror, is we did have an election, but we didn't have to deal with Bernie Sanders this time,

and Bernie Sanders people this time, right?

It's the last two elections, So going back almost a decade,

we had to deal with John what you're talking about,

which is like the progressive wing of the party,

which now brands itself as like Democratic Socialist or whatever,

convincing all the rest of us that their work inside the party

was going to bear fruit and that Bernie Sanders

a Bernie Sanders candidacy or an aOC candidacy or whatever the case may be aOC and the squad

getting leadership positions within the democratic party was going to lead to something like socialism

we didn't really get a lot of that this time it seems like um

what was her name comal harris yeah it seems like she kind of uh spurred the left right she didn't

really do much in terms of if you had liz cheney why do you need the left yeah right you know actually

my experience was related to that and that it had to do with, you know,

for as long as I, the last time I voted, I think was one of the times that Jesse Jackson ran,

and my kids were giving me a really hard time, but why don't you vote for him?
