Well, imagine you're trying to accomplish something that you've been dreaming about for a long time and that gives you a lot of trepidation.

It's very difficult, challenging hunt.

In this case, I'm talking about taking a doll sheep with a recurve bow and a hike in hunt so you're not flying, you're not boating in.

You're backpacking all the way in. You get in there, you get you're getting close you've seen a couple legal rams you've been working them

And then weather blows in that destroys your camp

Takes apart your tent like it's made out of

tin foil, okay?

This just happened to a good buddy of mine, and

he made it out but he he said it was touch and go he said it was touch and go he said if

he'd been on a drop camp hunt it could have ended really badly for him.

So what we're talking about today is early season prep and techniques.

And I've got a good buddy of mine here named Tice Erickson. He's the owner of Utah Bird Dog Training and man he's a pretty

savvy guy when it comes to dogs and all things feathered, but he's also one of the gnarliest

backcountry hunters that I'm acquainted with.

And he does a lot of bow hunting, a lot more than I do, which of course really fits with your early season prep and technique topic. So, I'm Joseph
