Early evening yesterday it was decided in the House of Commons that Boris Johnson could indeed get his general election and it's going to be on October the 12th, the Thursday, not October the 9th, which is what the Lib Dems and the SNP wanted. They were all very concerned, of course, that Boris was going to try and slip in a no-deal Brexit tomorrow on Halloween. It'd be quite funny if he did, to be honest now, but I don't think that's going to happen. He has pledged to go all the way down to the wire. The election
