I had another conversation with Larry Haight the other day, the famed traitor.

This conversation is coming on the podcast soon.

I'm not sure why, but after that podcast, I was curious as to how his book has been doing.

It's doing pretty good.

But while I was at Amazon, I decided to take a peek at some of his reviews.

I've not looked at Amazon reviews for a long time for just about anything.

So I went to one of the one-star reviews.

I shall read that review verbatim.

Not because of any kind of agenda or this or that, but I think it's a great learning, teaching

moment. A review, a one-star review of Larry Heights book The Rule. That review reads, I really enjoy

the story of his life, but that's not what I bought the book for.

I was hoping to see his take on the indicators, moving averages, and other technical analysis

that goes into the very complex question of trend.

He treats it as if it's a binary issue.

I buy when the trend is up, and I immediately get out as

soon as the trend turns down. That is extremely disingenuous without going into detail about

what technical analysis he used to come to that conclusion. Again, his life story is inspirational,

and if that's the reason I bought the book, I wouldn't feel ripped off.
