To start today, something a little fun, just a brief nugget.

I posted a meme on X.

The meme said,

Fuck your mood, follow the plan.

My comment that went along with the meme,

some never liked the salty language.

I blame playing baseball.

And someone jumped in to say, by the way, I raised hogs and played baseball.

Today I credit training myself for the marketplace for my limiting my use of such language.

Discipline, I choose not to. I don't condemn others and save my judging for myself.

He goes on to say, I could excuse it, sort of, if you had raised

hogs for a living. The only other place I heard such language was a margin clerk. Maybe she was

raised on a hog farm. If you've never heard of hogs, you've missed out, not saying deprived,

but you have to have done it to get it. Well, I have done it.

I can safely say I've raised hogs.

Not many people in Northern Virginia can say that, especially in the last few decades.

But I did.

And I don't have any earthly idea beyond the interesting experience with animals.

And pigs, hogs, they're pretty awesome animals.

But I don't really know what it has to do with anything.

Look, sometimes I use salty language.

It's the emotion of the moment.
