You know, I learned some of those live skills playing on the football field.

And, you know, those things like hard work, perseverance, and determination. And, you know,

whether it was in law school or even now as I prepare and practice for debates, I mean, you know, I try to take those things very seriously and, you know, show up early and do the work.

And sometimes practice isn't always fun.

And, you know, you got somebody that's sparring with you in these practice sessions that gets the best of you.

It's the same way when I was a DB and Harry Douglas used to get the best of me on a route.

I mean, you know, it's just, it's part of it.

And so it always gives you an opportunity to get better and learn from your mistakes.

We both come a long way since our political science days at the University of Louisville. But where I'm

to start with you and what I've been fascinated to read up on this is you've achieved a tremendous amount of success by the

world standards at such an early age, just 37 years old, and you credit your upbringing and

your parents for a lot of that. Talk a little bit about your upbringing in Elizabethtown,
