I had a chance to chat with Mitch Trubisky about a number of topics ranging from the Jordan Howard trade to his thoughts on Game of Thrones.

That's going to be part one of that podcast. Also, Luke Stuckmire and I had a chance to talk to Akeem Hicks about a couple topics.

So we're just going to put those together in a podcast for you.

So there's that.

So there are two of the most important players on the Bears, but we're going to talk about kickers.

Something new.

Something new, because we haven't hit this subject enough.

I feel like the guy in the first season shoot detective, you know, when he comes out and he's just

rambling about time and space and nothing mattering. Like, this is how I feel at this point.

That's a good transition because as John Moon-Mullen wrote in an article on NBC Sports Chicago

on Wednesday,

the bears are not really better off at kicker right now than they were when they had Cody Parkie.

The line that I loved was he referred to the kicking competition and then the acquisition of Eddie Panero as a, quote,

cadre of mediocrity.
