Welcome to talking scripture. I'm Mike and I'm Bryce and today we're going to be

talking about second E5 31 through 33 the doctrine of Christ. He's going to start off by talking about his soul, delight, and plainness.

Nefai says, Wherefore the things which I have written sufficeeth me, save it be a few words which I

must be considering the doctrine of Christ

wherefore I shall speak unto you plainly according to the plainness of my

prophesying so right after a lot of chapters talking about Isaiah, which I think most of us would say maybe isn't playing this.

Nephi is going to be really plain, isn't he?

Yep. And I'm giddy about this chapter because the truth I tell people a lot,

if I were headed to a desert island and could

only take a single page of scripture this is the page I take second E5 31 I

think it is the greatest summary in its most simplistic form of exactly what is expected

for salvation and it needs to change our paradigm.

So many Latter-day Saints are in constant doubt of their own salvation and I think it's because they don't fully understand the doctrine of Christ.

So let me set this up. I know this will be a little lengthy so bear with me, but this is my introduction.

Once there was a young man who went into a great deal of debt, he was warned against it.

He was warned about his creditor, but he ignored the warning. He borrowed more money than he should from an unworthy source and signed terms that were not necessarily favorable.

He didn't even have to make monthly payments just one lump sum long ways away
