The battle with evil changes and we have to adapt.(1:10:21) We can be happy in a world of uncertainty and turmoil.(1:11:47) The Nephites had all power over their enemies, but they became weakened because of disunity.(1:13:41) Morianton’s maid servant fled to the camp of Moroni.(1:15:00) Contention and dissensions among the people of Nephi brought them down. It is better to prepare and prevent than to repair and repent.(1:19:16) Don’t become what you hate. Unity, following God, and fighting defensively is key for the Nephite victory. Evil has to be chased out with light.

0:29.3	the first section of the war chapters 43 through 52 there's a lot in here isn't
0:34.8	there right this is the absolute gift of the book of Mormon because we are engaged in a
0:39.2	war against evil this is the war that began in pre-mortem life and so people who brush off the war chapters in the book of Mormon don't understand that they're engaged in a war and we have been handed the answers how Satan operates, the strategy.

0:56.9	oh my goodness, this is how applicable the Book of Mormon is.

1:01.3	There's so much in here. What I thought we could do first, Bryce, is give a brief overview of these 20 chapters. This is like just a couple of minutes of, okay, what's in here? So, in the 43rd chapter, the Zoramites who we've struggled with and they're on the border by the Lamanites and we wanted to bring them to Christ, they are enemies.
1:18.6	And so they join and unite with the Lamanites, led by a guy named Zerhema and they attack the Nephites and they start losing,
1:25.2	which at the end of the chapter as they start losing, Moroni steps in the 44th chapter and says,
1:31.5	hey, let's stop killing him for a second and what
1:33.4	happens in chapter 44 so then morona's army surrounds them gives them the
1:37.5	option you can if you'll swear in an oath that you will not attack us will let you
1:42.4	go in peace and Zarachhema says I can't do that I just can't do that and so Morona
1:46.9	picks up his sword and there's just a defining moment and he hands
1:50.3	Zaraheme to his sword and says, then we will end the conflict.
