The first question.

How did you first become interested in investing and trend following in particular?

Tough question.

As time goes on, I somewhat forget the exact moment, but I want to say

summer, 1994, I picked up a magazine. It said the financial world's top 100 paid. Top 100 paid on

Wall Street. And number 35 or number 37, something like that,

was a late 30-something-year-old accountant from Virginia who had just made around $40 million

for the year 1993. His name was Jerry Parker. He was a turtle. From that moment, from that little snippet in financial world, summer 1994, and it could have

been no more than a paragraph, and it said that basically he did not use fundamentals.

Once I saw that, okay, game on.

Here's a guy from my state, Virginia, who had no financial background. I mean,

he was a CPA, so he had that background, but he wasn't a trading wizard or a trading legend,
