CNN's John Miller has spent his life toggling between television journalism, law enforcement, and the intelligence community.

He's covered some of the biggest national security and crime stories of the

past four decades, including a rare interview with Osama bin Laden, three years before bin Laden

unleashed the gruesome terrorist attack on the World Trade Center.

Between stints and journalism, Miller also has served at the highest levels of the FBI,

the nation's two largest police departments, and the office of the director of national intelligence.

He's a master storyteller, but as you'll hear, he's also a hell of a story in his own right. John Miller, what a pleasure to sit down with you.

You know, I'm

in the newsroom of the Chicago Tribune in a very colorful time and so you're a great

journalist you've covered a lot of great stories but you are a great story and I wanted to great you to identify these names for me. Who are Antonio from Rome, Pierre from Paris,

Nigel from London? Who are these people?

They are one person who is also named John Miller,

but also named John Relem, which was Miller spelled backwards, and that was my father who wrote seven

weekly columns under six different names one of them being his own.
