I sat down with an old friend and colleague this week,

amid the roiling controversy surrounding the status of the Biden candidacy.

I worked and collaborated for years with John Favreau when he was the chief

speechwriter for Senator and then President Barack Obama.

I've watched and listened as John and his Pod Save America crew, White House alums all,

built something smart and entertaining and impactful these past eight years.

They are an admirable, inspiring group of pragmatic idealists who see

politics as more than a game and their podcasts and crooked media site as a

vehicle to provoke thought and action and change.
