Hello everybody, we are going to try out something very new and exciting here on the Real

ignment. Before we get into anything Q&A and all that other good stuff, we are going

to play from you from here on out. A part of the episode that we thought was the very

absolute best of the internet. This week, there has been a lot of speculation about President

Trump and his 2024 plans. Is he going to run again? One of those reports comes from Axios,

which says he wants to start a subscription-based media company. Now, luckily, this week we

have Professor Scott Galloway. He is known for his analysis of business, media, subscription,

bundles. Literally can't think of a better person to ask. One of the most insightful answers

I've heard on this yet, let's take a listen.

The whole world is going iOS or Android. I think that the reason why a subscription model

for Trump doesn't work is I think he's Android. I think he's going to have to go add supported.

I just don't think his followers are the people cutting the cord. I think they're the

people that still have the cord and are still watching Fox or angry that Fox isn't right

wing enough. The content that goes most viral, the niche content you're talking about the

apps, those are pretty niche for him to serve us 75 million people that voted for him.

He needs to go Android. He needs to be on Fox two or a new station that gets cable carriage

that's ad supported. He will, I'm not even sure CNN can support itself on the ad model

because when you start talking about asking people to turn their credit card out, there

are litmus tests is I get a billion dollars of content for every 86 cents I give to Apple

in terms of Apple TV plus I get 240 I get a buck for a dollar 20 Netflix will give me

a billion dollars of content. So that's kind of the litmus test if you want me to pay.
