And I hope that you're really getting ready for a fabulous weekend as we all need it.

Okay, well, it has been, it's been a week. It's been two weeks actually. And I did not release a podcast episode last week because honestly, I was having a really difficult week and it just it wasn't in the cards for me. It really just was not in the cards for me.

So we're going to do a quick catch up. We're going to chat a little bit. I'm going to do my best to bring you the most delightful podcast that I have in me today. And hopefully this will be just a pre court precursor to some fabulous podcast episodes that I have coming up in the future.

So what's going on in my world? What's going on in the Lukazyak home? So since we chatted last, Chloe came home, my 20 year old, she came home for, well, she came home for a multiple being multitude of reasons, she came home for spring break. She is totally burnt out. She's taking more classes than she's ever taken.

And honestly, Chloe's not just taking, you know, college classes, but she's also juggling a full time business as well as like all of her social media and auditions and acting classes and all of the things above that she focuses on. So she really just needed a week at her parents house to lay on the couch, read a book, watch show, and basically just decompress.

So very happy to have her here for that long of time. She came home on Saturday. Was it Saturday? I think it was Saturday. She came home on Saturday. I picked her up. Mark was at the penguin game. So we had some time to hang out. Clara, I honestly think that Clara was goodness knows where because Claire is kind of like in and out of everything right now.

She's like an enigma or a shadow. She comes in, she comes out, she goes to friends houses, show each show complain, show demand something, and then she's gone. So Chloe and I got to hang out for a bit. And then on Sunday, we actually were planning on celebrating my birthday.

So my birthday is March 3rd. It was last Thursday. And we were planning on celebrating my birthday. We were going to go to dinner. We were going to do all the things because Monday, I finally had my surgery for my foot schedule.

But honestly, Chloe and I kind of got into she wanted to, well, she didn't want to her mother talk to her into it. I talked to her into watching yellow jackets. And so we got like deep into the series. And then we were like, do we really want to go out? Not really.

And so we ended up staying home. Great. I love a good day in. And honestly, I don't get a very many opportunities that I can just like lay on my couch and not do much. So it was great.

On Monday, you know, had went in for the surgery. I waited quite a long time, which was weird because I had like a 6.5 a.m. call time.

I don't think that's what it's called. That was like my surgery arrival time. But Chloe kept saying, what's what wins your call time. So it was my call time.

And I waited for quite a bit. And, you know, had the surgery. And here, what's really weird is so I had a lot of bone growth on my, so basically what it was.

I feel like I've talked about this a million times. But basically my big toe joint had so much arthritis growing on it that my bones were trying to fuse themselves together.

So there was a lot of like bone on bone situation happening, which was incredibly painful.

So when the surgeon went in, he was able to remove a lot of that. But I guess apparently I had a sister to as well in the joint, which lit.

And then they also did like a joint implant.

So when I woke up, I was completely unaware that I was going to be in a surgical splint. I thought I was just going to have a boot on.

No, I have like a surgical splint and bandages were wrapped around it. And then I found out after that I wear this for three weeks.

And then after this three week recovery is over, I go in. This is non weight bearing. So I'm having a really hard time being a good patient and not walking around on my heel.

I have crutches and a scooter. But when I go back in, then I have three weeks in a cast. And then I go into a boot and PT where I learned walk again.
