Covey authors in the studio, the author of the

project management book that's done wildly well, Suzette Blakenmore.

Suzette, welcome.

I'm honored to have you here.

I'm guessing you didn't have a life ambition to be the co-author of a book on project

management. I did not. Might have been like a romance novel or a leadership book or

opus on your life or something but congratulations because this has been a bit of a giant sleeper.

Thank you. I mean, for a book has been out now about three years or so, this book average is about 16 to 17,000 copies a year, which is remarkable in the book space for a book on a topic

that most people don't wake up in the morning saying,

what I need today is to go to Barnes Noble and buy a book on project management, right?

It's not a beach read.

Has it happened to me either, right?

Well it might be for some of our project management friends, right?

So you just offended several hundred thousand people in the PMI Institute.

I'm sorry about that.

You are very smart people, but you're probably a member of that group as well.

Talk about a bit of your journey of how you got to writing this book.

You've been in our firm for almost a decade now. You were a leader, an

author before that. Talk about your professional journey. I've been in the world of business for a long long time right I've done sales I've done

leadership marketing I've done everything I've gotten to do this great dance of learning it all.
