Today is a very special day. We've been able to take some time

with the renowned thought leader and multi best-selling author Daniel Pink

who's joining us today from his home office in Washington, D.C.

Daniel, welcome to On Leadership.

Scott, thanks for having me.

It's good to be with you remotely.

As I hover over your knee there.

Well, we'll make sure that I put my knee down a little bit.

So it's great to have you.

Daniel, you and I have been together a couple different times

over the course of the last decade.

We met for the first time, I think think about eight years ago in California and

we send a kind of tend to follow you around the international speaking tour I

think whenever you and I text or email you're always off in some far-flung

place giving a speech which I think is probably a lot of fun

and really fulfilling your mission around writing these books.

So welcome to our set today as well.

It's great to be here actually, you know, I spend most of my time here in this office, which is the garage behind my house,

writing books.

And so it's nice to be able to talk to someone rather than just be here alone with my own thoughts.
