Daylight savings kicked in, though, and I feel like it was just yesterday I was recording and speaking with you.

And there's like a beautiful Wednesday evening with the sun outside.

And now the fog's rolling in and it's dark.

And it's like, wow, quite the change quite rapidly.

Does it just give you the

thirst for freedom, James? That was quite the segue there. It's sort of inevitable if you write a post

entitled Tech and Liberty. I mean, it's almost like painfully cliche, but you know, what are you

going to do? Yeah, it's true. It's true.

It's interesting. So we actually talked on the phone earlier this week about this. So it's

funny. I feel like I'm talking to you twice. I read this article that I thought was very compelling

and I linked to it in my piece. I opened this article of Tech Liberty, talk about that X KCD comic

about the First Amendment. And I was not the first one to do this. We'll put the link in the show notes. This guy named Pat Kerr wrote a great piece on Medium that

originally sort of took this tack. I mean, I approached it from a little bit of a different

perspective. But the idea was, you know, this comic is a public service announcement,

basically saying the point of the First Amendment is that the government can't arrest you. That's it. Like, so stop telling us about the First Amendment, blah, blah, blah, blah. And it's something that I think we've certainly discussed a lot.

It's a point actually that we've kind of made, I think maybe not as clearly and explicitly

kind of in passing. Oh, the first amendment doesn't apply to private companies. And then we kind
