Hello and welcome back to ACRAC. I'm Jed Wolfau and I am thrilled to be here today with one of my

0:20.1

colleagues here at Johns Hopkins, one of my former residents, former chief residents, a fantastic

0:24.8

person, Dr. Anna Gitterman. And we've got a great show for you today. Before we start, I want to

0:29.6

just remind everyone that we now have CME available by the wonderful company CMEFI. It makes it

incredibly easy. If you want to get CME through ACRAC, just look on the show notes and ACRAC.com.

0:43.5

You'll see a link. You click on that. You do a very quick about 30-second reflection and pay a

0:48.7

small fee. And you can get your CME credits. It's going to be much cheaper than paying for a CME

0:53.8

conference. And much, much easier if you're listening to the episode anyway. So check that out.

1:51.2

it is after that you take your advanced exam when you graduate, typically the July after your

1:55.8

CA three year. So when you find out that you've passed your advanced exam, you are then eligible

2:00.2

to sign up for the applied exam. And there's two components to the applied exam. It's the

2:04.4

standard oral examination, which is what we'll be doing today. And that's also coupled with an

take the exam in person during COVID. It has been transitioned to a virtual format. And I believe
