I think the appropriate attitude for a Georgia fan to have at the upcoming college football

playoff is kind of a combination of confidence and concern.

And, you know, some discussions require a certain level of nuance.

Nuance is always dangerous because people have a tendency to sort of misunderstand it.

But, you know, in life,

a lot of things are sort of multiple things kind of true at the same time. And I think for Georgia,

as we get ready for the college football playoff, there are potentially a couple of storylines

that are kind of running concurrent to each other that are both potentially valid. Like on the

one hand, when you lose your starting quarterback, a guy like Carson Beck, who

was at the beginning of the season, one of the favorites won the Heisman Trophy, thought to be

one of the more likely first-round draft picks among the quarterbacks.

When a guy like that is now no longer available to you, for at least we would presume the

Sugar Bowl,

we'll see beyond that.

You know, there's some dispute out there about just how injured Beck may be.

We won't pretend to necessarily know, but let's just sort of assume for now he is not playing in the Sugar Bowl.
