Parker, engineering your success. Hello and welcome back to Atkrak I'm Jed Wolpea and we have a really great

and important show for you today I'm thrilled to have with me I think for the first

time ever an intern who is going to be an

anesthesia resident. She's in a categorical program, so she really is already, but she's in

her intern year. And so we're going to talk about the application process and matching and applying in

anesthesiology and nobody could be more expert on this than my guess who just

went through it and very successfully. So her name is Dr. Tricia Pendergrest. She is an intern at the University of

of Michigan Department of Anesthesiology and she'll be in their anesthesia CA1 through

three program in the next three years.

And we're going to talk about a really interesting survey

that we did together, along with a colleague Mike Hoffkamp,

asking applicants from this past match cycle

to answer a bunch of questions and Tricia has really

taken the lead on this and she's going to be able to tell us a lot about what we learned as well
