I think 17 sick inpatients and did a lot of teaching, did some ultrasound, did a whole bunch of cool stuff today.

So if you had to predict your cortisol levels right now, we had to estimate them.

Do you think they're like baseline? You think they're elevated? Do you think you're turned up? Like what's going on?

Well, not terribly elevated. I did just finish a bit of a workout so whatever effect that might have it's also late

afternoon early evening so that has a little bit of a dip to it so you know probably

all comes out in the wash and doesn't really matter. I mean honestly yeah let's just

Right now it's probably still above baseline when you like prior to thinking about starting

When we talk about exercise, this effect on cortisol, it's going to be lower than if you were a insufficiently active individual.

It's like a compensatory response in those who are well trained and I think we can all agree

that you're well trained so, you know, make sure you do that next time on teaching rounds when you get somebody with the cortisol
