So I was at a conference this past week called through the portal where Angela Davis was in conversation with Cori Bush.

And she sort of, so Barbara Ranzby was a moderator and sort of asked her about this, you know, people who are

who are critiquing her for this, right? And she's like, I never, so because this started with

Hillary, this started with Barack Obama, right?

She endorsed Barack Obama.

She says she never endorsed Hillary Clinton

and she didn't endorse Kamala.

What she did, although I remember very vividly holding up a newspaper and

squealing with glee at at least one of these candidates but fine. But what she

said was that she didn't endorse these people,

but if electoral politics is a strategy

that one uses, that we are in a moment

where an outright fascist,

and she wouldn't even say his name by the way,

she would not say Trump, but an outright fascist

is the other candidate,

then we have a sort of responsibility to vote for the, I guess, fascist adjacent.

She didn't use that terminology, but that's how I would characterize it, right?

The sort of gateway to fascism.

And so that was her argument.

Whatever, if that's your strategy, fine.

But I think that my problem with what she said
