But before we get to that,

we're going to dig in today's podcast topic for a few minutes. Rides gone horribly wrong and why

that made them so great? Or maybe why that made them so memorable is a better way to put that,

eh, Kasmir? Yeah, exactly. Things that stick in your brain for a lot longer than just your normal everyday ride.

Yeah, exactly.

Sarah, you know, we probably do 150 to 200 rides every year, but I have to confess that I can

maybe remember 10 of them at most.

And it's usually the ones that don't go to plan at all.

Why do you think that is?

Well, I think it's also interesting that, like, we talked about what makes a good riding partner,

but also a lot of the rides that are most memorable for me are the rides that I went on with a lot of people. And I think there's always just stuff that goes wrong or is a little bit different than your average ride.

And I think a lot of my rides just kind of blend together, like similar trails, similar riding buddies.

But when you go with different people and things that happen that are a little out of the ordinary, yeah, makes them memorable. I have a group rule, three or less. I feel like that's like a good,

a good thing to have. So the rides, yeah, so the rides don't turn into too much of a gong show.

Kaz, do you do big rides? Do they turn into gong showsos big group rides yeah i don't usually do a lot of big group

rides for the same reason you my group is three or more or three or less i mean but like i do i can

there's a place for those giant rides but pretty rarely for me because you know things are going to

just get like you said gong show just turn weird and i don't always have the patience for that
