that okay tonight is a story about a guy that would become one of Australia's first

serial killers and he would brutally mutilate his last his first

So first up let's find out a bit about William McDonnell.

He was born Alan Ginsburg on the 17th of June

1924 in Liverpool England. The middle child and we know what that means being a

middle child. He's he was always going to be a little bit

different anyway in 1943 with the second world war well underway

Ginsburg joins up with the army and is sent to the Lancashire Fusilias.

Hmm.

Now, while in an air raid shelter during a German air raid, Ginsburg is raped by a corporal and although at the time

it traumatized him later on he realized that he actually enjoyed it.

He didn't so much enjoy the surprise or non-consensual aspects of that encounter,

more he realized that he had homosexual persuasions. Ginsburg would be discharged from the army in
