Lucas is joining me via Zoom in Utah County where he's a BYU student and I'll give you a little background. Lucas is from Brazil.

He may tell us more about where he lived, but a little town called Palmas, if any of you know that.

I've never been to Brazil. I'd love to go there. And he spent a couple years in Spain,

in southern Spain, in his teenage years, and then later after his mission. Then he went to a

completely different country for his mission. He's kind of doing every country on the planet to Chile in the Santiago East

mission. He's been home about six years. He did some work online at BYU, Idaho. He's been at

BYU and Provo for about three months. He's a pre-business major. We're looking to get into the

finance program. He's a business owner in the past. He's a pre-business major. We're looking to get into the finance program.

He's owned a bakery that he started in Brazil.

And I think that's part of his desire to be in the finance world.

He has a gay Latter-day Saint, as I mentioned, this is kind of the most public thing Lucas has ever

done. He's out to family and close friends, but this is really brave of him. He's been listening to

the podcast for a couple years, and I'm just, every time I meet someone like Lucas, I'm just kind

of overcome with the courage of a queer
