This week, I had the pleasure of chatting with Samuel Hofler. Sam is a 10-year cannabis industry professional and current head grower of Prove Cultivar.

Sam is finishing an agronomy degree at Oregon State University and focuses primarily on nutrient management, irrigation techniques, and cannabis crop production.

Sam has created a novel cultivation model at Prove Cultivar while building one of the most advanced

and informative data sets on cannabis nutrient values to date. Sam's long-term goals include

establishing optimal nutrient ranges for cannabis, creating an open platform for industry professionals

to share knowledge, and to continue pursuing a lifelong passion for researching cannabis

cultivation.

Yeah, I'm excited to get a chance to talk.

I know I got to come down and visit your facility a few months ago now and see you guys in production. But let's go

ahead and give listeners a little background into who you are and what you do over at Proof.

Yeah, absolutely. So my name is Sam Helfler. I'm currently head grower at Proof Culibar in Portland,

Oregon. We're a pretty large indoor organic cannabis facility,

and my background with cannabis is a little over 10 years now. I grew up in Pennsylvania

and was introduced to cannabis pretty early on and started to grow up almost immediately.
