Summary

In recent months, complementarians have been in ongoing discussions about what precisely it means to be a complementarian. Does it mean that women ought not be pastors? Does it mean that women ought not preach in the church? What does 1 Timothy 2:12 specifically forbid?

Unfortunately, many of these conversations yield more heat than light. In this episode of Pastors’ Talk, Mark and Jonathan chat about these recent complementarian kerfuffles, in particular how the two “sides” of the argument can disagree and converse with one another charitably.
