I meant for this episode to come out months ago sometime in the fall to tell you what it was like for us when my daughter started second grade at a new school.

I knew that moving to a different school would be a challenge,

but it ended up being even harder and more complicated than I had expected. And up until now I've

been too preoccupied with living this story to be able to tell it. I've been so scared and sad and confused over the

past six months, strategizing every step and coordinating all the players involved.

All trained to ensure that my daughter would be both safe and happy in her new school.

And now here we are about halfway through the school year.

And although I worked my ass off trying to get it right.

And my kid seems to be doing okay.

I'm convinced that it still wasn't good enough.

Maybe that's my fault, or maybe it's the world's fault for not really being ready for us yet

I told a friend last night that I feel like I did an awesome job for my kid and that I also

simultaneously totally fucked everything up.

Maybe doing both of those things at once is what makes you a parent. So I noticed that lately, I noticed that lately sometimes when you're like getting dressed, you're kind of like tucking your penis in between your legs. I was wondering are you feeling... I don't like it.

Okay, you don't like your penis?

I don't like it.

Do you like not like that people other people see it or do you know like what can you tell me?
