Listen, in today's podcast, we're going to talk about how to handle setbacks, how to handle challenges, how to handle obstacles that come up

not only in your fitness journey. This could be used for anything in life, but I'm going to talk

about it from a fitness perspective because, you know, the God's honest truth first and foremost

is you're not going to be able to just not have setbacks. It's nice to think that way, but I like to think

of a realist mindset and like realistically speaking, there are going to be unfortunate things

that happen to you. You know, God forbid, a family member passes away. You know, God forbid you get

an injury. Maybe something happens at work, your schedule changes,

whatever the case may be, you're going to deal with setbacks and challenges.

And so I think first and foremost, as opposed to trying to like get out of it, as opposed to

trying to make it never happen, which is what I think most people try to do.

Most people try to go through their life

and you try to have bad things not happen to you. This is bad for a couple of reasons. Number one,

when bad things do happen to you, you freak out even more because you're so focused on having

them not happen that when even the smallest

of things happen, it turns into this big deal because you're trying so hard not to have

bad things happen. And then number two, just again, from a realistic standpoint, do you really

think you're going to go through life just like scotch-free like nothing bad is ever going to happen

to you and there's going to be no challenges that come up along the way it's it's not realistic so

as opposed to trying to avoid the bad things happening or avoid the setbacks happening how about
