And I'm no longer a council member in Flagstaffed,

but I was for four years.

It's great to have you today, and I want to start off and discuss the big story of this week, which is that police officer Derek Chauvin was found guilty on all three counts for the murder of George Floyd.

And there's no doubt that the jury got it right,

but accountability for one killer cop

is not enough when the entire unjust and corrupt system still remains intact, which means

our two capitalist parties still haven't gotten it right because they continue to resist any fundamental changes to our

unjust policing system and capitalist system. The murder of George Floyd

should have been a moment of of self-reflection for the police and the government that they need to do better.
