I think this is maybe the third episode that I haven't done at the Kitchen Island.

I'm actually in my office today.

And as you know, I kind of go back and forth between philosophical topics, certainly

clinical topics, specific questions that people answer. And,

you know, it's a wide audience that we have in terms of just the feedback that we get. So today,

we're going to go back to a more clinical topic.

And I picked this one because I had several cases in the last few weeks where I diagnosed this disorder.

And it's actually pretty common.

And a lot of people, I think, could probably resonate with this, which is something of the OCD and related disorders, which is excoriation disorder, otherwise known as skin picking.

And the essential feature really of the skin picking disorder is really recurrent picking of one's

own skin.

Sometimes in rare cases, people will try to pick other people's skin.

And the most common places, I think, from my experience where people generally pick is

the face, their arms, from my experience, where people generally pick is, uh, the face,
